DSAI as a top-class spin doctor/conman, for many years, has managed to delude the ordinary people into believing that all the charges or allegations against him are concocted by ruling government as an attempt to assassinate his political career.
After all the truth will finally prevail - his supporters/loyalists will have to slowly learn to accept the upsetting truth.
